Man Struck and Killed by SUV in Hit-and-Run Accident on Reichling Lane [Pico Rivera, CA]

Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Reichling Lane in Pico Rivera

 
PICO RIVERA, CA (April 20, 2021) – Police confirmed that a man died in a hit-and-run accident in the 9000 block of Reichling Lane on April 18.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 6:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was in a conversation with some occupants of a dark-colored Chevrolet Suburban prior to the crash. Then, he walked away from the vehicle. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle sped at him, striking him. Subsequently, the Chevy left the scene.
 
As a result, the man died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity pending kin notification.
 
At this point, the Pico River Sheriff’s Department is still investigating this accident on Reichling Lane. In addition, officers ask anyone with information to contact detectives at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
