Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Sanderson Avenue in Hemet

 
HEMET, CA (April 20, 2021) – Police confirmed that a woman died in a pedestrian accident on Sanderson Avenue on April 18.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Fruitvale Avenue around 3:15 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was in the roadway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a brown sedan struck her. Subsequently, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died in the incident. When first responders arrived at the scene, they performed life-saving measures and transported the victim to the hospital, where she later died. Officials did not release the identity of the victim, pending kin notification.
 
At this point, the Hemet Police Department is still investigating this pedestrian accident on Sanderson Avenue.
