Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Pedestrian Accident on Clairemont Drive in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 20, 2021) – A man suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in the 3000 block of Clairemont Drive on April 17.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 9:16 AM.
Based on a report, the 59-year-old man walking in the middle of the road at the time of the crash. At that time, a white vehicle was driving southbound on Clairemont Drive. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle struck the pedestrian.
As a result, the victim sustained severe head trauma. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital for treatment.
