UTV Accident on San Miguelito Road near Lompoc Leaves Three People Injured, One with Major Injuries

 
LOMPOC, CA (October 15, 2023) – A man was seriously injured in a UTV rollover accident at the wind farm off San Miguelito Road in Lompoc Wednesday afternoon on October 11.
 
The accident happened just before 2:00 p.m. near Sudden Road. According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the UTV had rolled over for unknown reasons and ended up on top of the driver.
 
The driver’s coworkers used a water tender and a chain to lift the UTV off the man, who suffered major injuries.
 
The man was then transported via Calstar Air to Marian Medical Center in an unknown condition.
 
Two other people were taken to the hospital by private vehicles with unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
