Elderly Man Suffers Serious Injuries after Scooter Accident near Saint Andrews Drive in Seal Beach

 
SEAL BEACH, CA (October 4, 2021) – A elderly man suffered serious injuries in a scooter accident near Saint Andrews Drive and Church Place.
 
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, in the Leisure World Community. According to the Seal Beach Police Department, the man was riding his mobility scooter when a passing car struck him near the intersection.
 
As a result, the man sustained severe injuries. Paramedics took him to a local trauma center for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.
 
The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
