Vehicle Hits Pedestrian on Moorpark Street in Studio City Leaving Him in Serious Condition

 
STUDIO CITY, CA (November 21, 2023) – A man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Moorpark Street in Studio City Monday evening on November 20.
 
The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. just between the Vineland Avenue and 101 Freeway. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the male pedestrian was crossing the street when a vehicle struck him.
 
The victim was briefly trapped underneath the vehicle.
 
Responding firefighters quickly freed the man and took him to a hospital in serious condition.
 
It was unclear what may have caused the crash or if the driver remained at the scene.
 
The crash is still under investigation.
