Mission Valley Pedestrian Accident on Hotel Circle South, Man in Critical Condition

 
MISSION VALLEY, CA (July 5, 2022) – A man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Hotel Circle South in Mission Valley late Thursday evening on June 30.
 
Around 11:30 p.m., the 55-year-old man was walking along the shoulder of Hotel Circle South. For unknown reasons, he darted across traffic, according to the San Diego Police Department. A 2011 Honda CRV, driven by a 30-year-old man then hit him.
 
As a result, the man suffered head and other injuries. Paramedics rushed him to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
 
The driver was not injured in the accident.
 
At this time, an investigation is still ongoing.
