Two Suffered Injuries in DUI Crash on H Street and Belle Terrace

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 4, 2022) — Two men suffered fatal injuries in a suspected DUI accident on H Street on Friday, July 1.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, at around 2:56 a.m. officers received reports of an injury crash involving two vehicles.
 
Officers responded to the crash site at the intersection of South H Street and Belle Terrace. Upon arrival, officers found both vehicles with a sole male occupant on each.
 
One man suffered life-threatening injuries. His status is not immediately released. The other man sustained moderate injuries. Medics rushed both men to a hospital for treatment.
 
Police said alcohol and speed appear to factor in the incident.
