Motorcyclist Suffers Multiple Fractures after Crash with Sedan on Regents Road in University City

 
UNIVERSITY CITY, CA (March 18, 2024) – A 19-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Regents Road in University City Saturday afternoon on March 16.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, a 32-year-old driver of a 2010 Toyota Corolla pulled out in front of a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle. The two vehicles then collided in the 9000 block of Regents Road around 1:25 p.m.
 
As a result of the crash, the man riding the motorcycle suffered multiple fractures to his left femur and tibia/fibula. His injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
 
Police said that alcohol was not a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
