Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries after Struck by Car on Miramar Road

 
MIRAMAR, CA (February 19, 2024) – A 33-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Miramar Road in the Miramar area early Saturday morning on February 17.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the man was riding a 2017 Yamaha motorcycle when he stopped at a red light. A 2005 Toyota Camry, driven by a 30-year-old woman, then rear-ended him in the 9600 block of Miramar Road around 12:30 a.m.
 
The impact caused the motorcyclist serious injuries. First responders rushed him to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The driver of the Camry stayed on scene and cooperated with officers.
 
Police said alcohol did not play a role in the crash, which is still under investigation.
