Man Severely Wounded in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Tully Road in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (March 16, 2023) — A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Tully Road and Flint Avenue.
 
According to San Jose officers, the pedestrian accident happened around 7:00 p.m. on March 9. A man, believed to be helping a family member in a disabled vehicle, was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk when a driver struck him.
 
According to investigators, the vehicle, a four-door pickup truck, had just turned westbound onto Tully Road from southbound Flint Avenue when the accident occurred. Surveillance footage showed the truck hitting the pedestrian before leaving the scene.

As for the victim, he suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and is recovering from his wounds.
