Man Severely Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Deer Valley Road in Antioch

 
ANTIOCH, CA (February 13, 2023) — A man suffered critical injuries following Thursday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Deer Valley Road near Rocky Point Drive.
 
According to Antioch police, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 12:45 a.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a pedestrian at the intersection.
 
Soon after, officers with the Antioch Police Department responded and airlifted the victim to a local trauma center in critical condition. The driver, however, left the scene prior to police officers’ arrival.
 
Now, the police department needs anyone’s help with locating the suspect involved in this crash, saying to check their surveillance cameras from 12:30 a.m. to 12:50 a.m.
