Two-Vehicle Accident on Vineyard Avenue in Madera Leaves 1 Dead

 
MADERA, CA (January 19, 2022) – A man died in a two-vehicle accident on Vineyard Avenue in Madera on Tuesday morning.
 
The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on January 18 near Yosemite Avenue. Police said a van was traveling westbound on Vineyard when it pulled in front of a white GMC Sierra pickup truck headed north on Yosemite Avenue. The two vehicles collided.
 
As a result, the male driver of the van died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck suffered moderate injuries.
 
Both drivers were sole occupants of their vehicles.
 
At this time, the Madera Police Department is still investigating the fatal accident.
