Two-Vehicle Crash on North Perris Boulevard in Perris Kills One Driver

 
PERRIS, CA (December 10, 2023) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on North Perris Boulevard in Perris late Thursday evening on December 7.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the man was driving a 2002 Honda Accord northbound when a 2014 Nissan Quest exited the parking lot, pulling into northbound lanes. The Accord then struck the rear of the Nissan in the 2200 block of North Perris Boulevard near Avocado Avenue just after 11:00 p.m.
 
The impact sent the Nissan across the roadway to the opposite side of the street.
 
County fire department paramedics arrived soon after and extricated the driver of the Accord. They rushed him to a regional trauma center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
 
The Nissan driver suffered minor injuries.
 
It is unknown if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, which is still under investigation.
