Police Seek Hit-and-Run Driver in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Wilton Place in Hollywood

 
HOLLYWOOD, CA (April 6, 2021) – A man was killed Thursday evening after a pedestrian accident at Wilton Place and Santa Monica Boulevard, police said.
 
The accident happened around 9:45 p.m. on April 1. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the man was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk when three vehicles, including a white SUV, struck him.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. His name was withheld pending notification of his relatives.
 
Police said only two vehicles stopped at the scene. The SUV kept going. The two motorists were interviewed by officers.
 
LAPD offered a standing reward of up to $50,000 for information that helps police solve this fatal hit-and-run. Police asked anyone with information to call detectives at 213-473-0234; 877-LAPD-247; or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
