Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on North White Road in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (April 25, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on North White Road in San Jose Tuesday night last week on April 18.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:15 p.m. near Kentridge Drive. According to the San Jose Police Department, a gray 2001 Chevrolet PT Cruiser was heading north on North White Road when it veered into the southbound lanes and struck the male pedestrian standing in the bike lane waiting to cross the street.
 
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died two days after on April 20. Authorities withheld his identity at this time.
 
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
