Fatal Pedestrian Accident at Hunts Lane and Steel Road

 
COLTON, CA (March 14, 2021) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident at Hunts Lane and Steel Road Wednesday morning, March 10.
 
According to the Colton Police Department, the accident happened around 7:33 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection and found the man unresponsive in the roadway. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The identity of the pedestrian is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. He was allegedly not in a crosswalk when a semi-truck hit him.
 
The San Bernardino Police Department was the first agency to respond to the incident location due to it straddling the line between the cities of Colton and San Bernardino.
