Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car on G Street in Madera

 
MADERA, CA (October 3, 2023) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on G Street near Madera Avenue.
 
According to the Madera Police Department, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a man in the 700 block of South G Street.
 
Soon after, paramedics and officers arrived to render life-saving measures on the victim. However, in spite of receiving these, the victim passed away at the scene.
 
Following the crash, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. However, the incident remains under investigation. If anyone has more knowledge of this accident, please call Madera officers.
