Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on Conner Street in Porterville

 
PORTERVILLE, CA (September 14, 2022) – A man died in a pedestrian accident at Conner Street and Springville Avenue in Porterville on Saturday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened just after 9:00 p.m. on September 10. According to the California Highway Patrol, the 53-year-old male pedestrian wearing dark clothing was crossing the street when a car struck him.
 
First responders rushed the man to Sierra View Medical in Porterville, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim has not yet been released.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
