Pedestrian Walking Towards Center Divider Dies after Struck by Car on 5 Freeway in Buena Park

 
BUENA PARK, CA (December 27, 2022) – A man died in a pedestrian accident on 5 Freeway in Buena Park early Sunday morning on December 25.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:26 a.m. along the northbound freeway at Orangethorpe Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian wearing light brown jacket was walking slowly towards the center divider when a vehicle struck him.
 
The impact caused fatal injuries on the pedestrian and he died at the scene.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
