Pedestrian Accident on 101 Freeway in Central LA Ends in Fatality

 
CENTRAL LOS ANGELES, CA (April 22, 2021) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 101 Freeway in Central Los Angeles Tuesday evening, April 20.
 
The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. just east of 10 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian was last seen sitting on the right shoulder wearing dark clothing when a white Ford Fusion struck him.
 
When officers arrived, they found the Fusion on the left shoulder while the pedestrian’s body was lodged into the back of the car’s windshield.

The victim, who was not yet identified, was declared dead at the scene.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances of the crash and liability.
