Fatal Motorcycle Accident on 91 Freeway in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 22, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on 91 Freeway in Riverside Wednesday morning, April 21.
 
The accident happened around 5:04 a.m. along the westbound lanes of the freeway at Pierce Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist collided with at least two vehicles including a blue Toyota Corolla.
 
When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist lying in freeway lanes with major injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the unidentified victim died at the scene.
 
The two vehicles were facing the wrong way in traffic lanes.
 
At this time, it is still unknown what led to the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
