Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Sedan on Victoria Avenue in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 11, 2022) – A man died in a motorcycle accident at Victoria Avenue and Arlington Avenue on Thursday morning.
 
The accident happened around 5:05 a.m. on April 7. According to the Riverside Police Department, a tan 2017 Chevrolet Spark was traveling eastbound on Arlington Avenue approaching the intersection with Victoria Avenue.
 
At the same time, the man was riding his 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle. He began making a left-hand turn onto Victoria Avenue from westbound Arlington Avenue.
 
The Chevrolet entered the intersection on a red signal, striking the motorcycle.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities only described him as a 55-year-old Riverside resident.
 
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 64-year-old Riverside man, was unharmed.
