Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Tracy Boulevard Off-Ramp in Tracy

 
TRACY, CA (November 21, 2023) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on the Tracy Boulevard off-ramp along the 205 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 6:00 a.m. Monday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a male pedestrian near the left shoulder of the off-ramp. Rather than stopping to help, the driver fled the scene. Some time later, traffic investigators found the victim’s body on the left shoulder, but the driver was unaccounted for.
 
At the time of the report, officials did not have information on the driver or vehicle involved. If anyone has seen this accident and can help the authorities, please call the CHP.
