Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu

 
MALIBU, CA (June 8, 2022) – A man died in a hit-and-run crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Saturday early morning, June 4.
 
The fatal crash happened around 12:45 a.m. near Via Escondido Drive. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the man was in the second lane of the highway when a vehicle traveling westbound struck him.
 
After the crash, the vehicle fled the scene leaving the victim with significant injuries.
 
Responding paramedics rushed the man to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where the he later died.
 
No further information was immediately available.
