Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Logan Avenue in Lincoln Park

 
LINCOLN PARK, CA (March 8, 2022) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Logan Avenue in Lincoln Park neighborhood of San Diego on Sunday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on March 6, near South 49th Street, not far from Harley E. Knox Middle School. According to the San Diego Police Department, the man who appeared to be in his 50s or 60s was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
After the crash, the involved driver did not stop to render aid.
 
First responders rushed the man to a hospital, but the unidentified victim died while in transit.
 
Police are still investigating the accident and on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect.
