34-Year-Old Man Victim of Fatal Hit-and-Run on Highway 246 in Lompoc

 
LOMPOC, CA (October 1, 2021) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 246 in Lompoc Sunday morning, September 26.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:15 a.m. near Sweeney Road. According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office and CHP, they located the man deceased along the roadway.
 
The man was a 34-year-old Lompoc resident. Investigators believe he was a victim of a hit-and-run crash. They withheld his identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large. An investigation is ongoing.
