40-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies in Pomona Hit-and-Run Crash

 
POMONA, CA (January 24, 2024) – A 40-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Temple Avenue and Foley Way in Pomona on Tuesday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:20 p.m. on January 23. According to the Pomona Police Department, the man was trying to cross Temple Avenue when a vehicle struck him.
 
After striking him, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner withheld the victim’s identity at this time.

Pomona Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team was conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash.
