43-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Avenue 252 in Tulare County

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (September 19, 2023) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Avenue 252 in Tulare County early Sunday morning on September 17.
 
The fatal crash happened just after 12:30 a.m. just east of Road 216. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
After striking him, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid.
 
Responding officers found the man lying on the ground with fatal injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The victim was a 43-year-old Lindsay resident. His name was not immediately available.
 
At this time, officers are still searching for the suspect driver and vehicle. An investigation is ongoing.
