Two Pickup Trucks Collide Head-On on Highway 138 in Cajon Pass Killing One

 
CAJON PASS, CA (March 22, 2023) – A man was killed in a head-on accident on Highway 138 in the Cajon Pass Tuesday morning on March 21.
 
The accident happened around 8:07 a.m. about a mile from Lone Pine Canyon Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Chevy Silverado and a gray Dodge Ram collided head-on, ejecting one person.
 
San Bernardino County Fire responded and pronounced the male in the roadway dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the female driver of the Silverado was trapped and injured. A ground ambulance took her to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Authorities withheld the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
