Driver Dies after Crashing Head-On with Big Rig on Highway 138 in Lancaster

 
LANCASTER, CA (November 5, 2023) – A man was killed in a head-on accident on Highway 138 in Lancaster Friday evening on November 3.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:55 p.m. just east of 250th Street West. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2018 Honda Civic was traveling eastbound when it drifted across the center yellow lines into the path of a 2023 Kenworth T680. The two vehicles then collided head-on.
 
As a result, the man driving the Honda was ejected from the car and died at the scene. He was not yet identified.
 
The crash is still under investigation. CHP officials urged anyone with further information to call the CHP’s Newhall area office at 661-600-1600.
