Man Killed in Car Accident at Commonwealth Avenue and Brookhurst Road [Fullerton, CA]

Car Crashes with Underpass near Commonwealth Avenue in Fullerton Killing the Driver and Sending Passenger to Hospital

 
FULLERTON, CA (February 12, 2024) – A man was killed in a car accident at Commonwealth Avenue and Brookhurst Road in Fullerton on Saturday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:09 a.m. on February 10. According to the Fullerton Police Department, a gray Honda CRV collided with the underpass near the intersection.
 
First responders found the male driver unresponsive inside the car. They performed life-saving efforts before rushing him to a local hospital.
 
Sadly, the driver did not survive and was declared dead. He may have possibly suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash, law enforcement officials said.
 
The Orange County Coroner’s Office withheld the driver’s identity at this time.
 
Meanwhile, a female passenger was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
