Pickup Truck Crashes on Albers Road in Modesto Killing the Driver and Badly Injuring the Passenger

 
MODESTO, CA (December 8, 2023) – A man was killed in a car accident on Albers Road in Modesto area Wednesday evening on December 6.
 
The fatal accident happened 7:35 p.m. just south of Milnes Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Albers Road at an unknown speed when the pickup truck swerved off the roadway and into the west shoulder.
 
The Silverado then crashed into a dirt embankment, causing the driver to be partially ejected from the car. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The female passenger was taken to Memorial Medical Center with major but non-life-threatening.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
