Fatal Riverside 2-Car Collision at Martin Luther King Boulevard

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (November 30, 2023) — A man died in a 2-car crash at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Chicago Avenue.
 
According to the Riverside Police Department, the fatal two-car crash happened around 6:00 a.m. Tuesday. For unknown reasons, a northbound Nissan Versa or an eastbound Kia blew through a red traffic signal. Subsequently, both cars collided at the busy four-way intersection.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the 27-year-old Moreno Valley male driver of the Nissan to Riverside Community Hospital, where he died from his catastrophic injuries. Also at the scene, paramedics took a 63-year-old Riverside Nissan occupant and two victims in the Kia to nearby trauma centers for treatment.
 
At the time of the report, officials did not release the names of any occupants.
