Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Fontana Accident at San Bernardino Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (November 30, 2023) — A woman hit by a car at San Bernardino Avenue and Juniper Avenue died last Sunday.
 
According to Public Information Officer Daniel Romero, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 9:34 p.m. on November 26. For an unknown reason, a female pedestrian walked into the path of a westbound vehicle near the intersection. Subsequently, the driver struck the woman on the road.
 
Soon after, Fontana Police Officers responded to the scene to find bystanders performing CPR on the gravely injured woman. However, she passed away moments later. Officials have yet to release her name at this time.
 
Following the crash, the unidentified driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. However, Fontana’s Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) has more to examine in this case. If any witnesses have information to share, please call Fontana Police.
