Man Dies, Child Injured After 2 Cars Collide at Duncan Road in Linden

 
LINDEN, CA (February 5, 2024) — A man died, and his 11-year-old daughter suffered an injury in a 2-car accident at Duncan Road and Comstock Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday. For an unknown reason, two cars crashed near the intersection.
 
Minutes later, paramedics responded and confirmed one fatality — a male driver. The fatal victim’s 11-year-old daughter reported pain from the crash and received hospital care for her injuires. As for the second driver, he or she suffered minor wounds.
 
At this time, authorities do not have an ultimate explanation for the crash but an investigation into whether DUI played a role should reveal the cause.
