Van Nuys Crash on Haskell Avenue Leaves One Person Injured

 
VAN NUYS, CA (February 9, 2021) — A two-vehicle crash on Haskell Avenue left one person injured in the Van Nuys/Lake Balboa area Saturday morning.
 
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that firefighters and paramedics responded to the incident at about 6:45 a.m. Upon arrival in the 6400 block of Haskell Avenue, they found two vehicles involved in a crash.
 
Firefighters also needed to extricate one person trapped in the wreckage. Paramedics then took the injured party, a man in his 40s, to an area hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
 
Based on reports, another person declined to be transported to the hospital for unknown reasons. The type and severity of injuries were also not immediately clear.
 
Meantime, this crash remains in an active investigation.
