Driver Sustains Injuries after Colliding with Another Car on West Ridgecrest Boulevard

 
RIDGECREST, CA (April 12, 2023) – A man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at West Ridgecrest Boulevard and South Mahan Street in Ridgecrest on Monday afternoon.
 
The accident happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. on April 10. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving a pickup truck when he collided with another vehicle at the intersection.
 
Ridgecrest Police responded to the scene along with Liberty Ambulance and Kern County firefighters.
 
The man was then transported to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
