Police Arrest Apple Valley Woman for DUI after Striking Man in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 7, 2024) – A man was injured and Teresa Navarrete was arrested after a DUI pedestrian crash in Victorville Sunday evening on February 4.
 
The crash happened around 10:32 p.m. near D Street and Seventh Street. Police said Navarrete, a 27-year-old Apple Valley resident, was driving a 2016 Kia Soul when she hit a 38-year-old male pedestrian.
 
First responders found the victim with head injuries and transported him to a hospital for treatment.
 
Deputies later determined that Navarrete was driving under the influence at the time of the crash. They arrested and booked her at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for DUI charges and driving with a suspended license.
