Whether you are a driver or a pedestrian on the road, the chances of an accident occurring are high when you are not alert. Pedestrians should only use designated crosswalks when crossing the street. Maximize your visibility by wearing light-color clothing and clearing the road before crossing. Drivers should also keep their eyes moving and slow down. Exercising caution reduces the risks greatly.
