Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Shaw Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Pedestrian Hit by Pickup Truck on Shaw Avenue near Brawley Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (December 6, 2022) – A man in his 40s sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Shaw Avenue, early Monday morning.
 
According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident happened on December 5, at about 5:00 a.m. Due to unknown circumstances, an eastbound pickup truck hit a pedestrian standing in the fast lane near Brawley Avenue.
 
Emergency crews transported the victim to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. His condition remains unknown.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities did not release the name of the driver.
 
Fresno police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
