INDIO, CA (February 27, 2023) — A man was injured in a pedestrian accident near John Nobles Avenue and Daisy Street.
 
According to Indio police officers, the pedestrian accident happened around 6:47 p.m. Thursday. For some reason, a driver making a turn struck a male pedestrian near the intersection.
 
The driver stayed at the scene and waited for police and paramedics. The man suffered unknown injuries in the accident and was taken to a hospital soon after. During the investigation, police determined that alcohol and drugs did not play a factor in the crash.
