Man Killed, Car Slams Into Parked Big Rig on Home Avenue in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 27, 2023) — A man died after a car crashed into a parked semi-truck on Home Avenue near Federal Boulevard.
 
According to San Diego police officers, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 3:50 a.m. Sunday. For unknown reasons, a 60-year-old man driving in a northbound 2014 Kia in the 3900 block of Home Avenue veered toward the right and struck a parked semi-truck.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded to the scene and shuttled him to a hospital where he died despite life-saving efforts.
 
Traffic investigators did not say what caused the crash or release information on the driver of the semi-truck. Although, if anyone has more information on this deadly accident, please contact the San Diego police.
