WESTLAKE, CA (June 6, 2023) — A man was injured in a pedestrian accident at 3rd Street and Westlake Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the pedestrian accident happened around 8:00 p.m. on May 14.
 
For an unknown reason, a driver of a gray 2007 to 2010 Toyota Camry left westbound after hitting a man. Upon impact, the pedestrian flew into the air and landed on the street while the driver continued to make a northbound right turn onto Alvarado Street.
 
Authorities will offer a standing reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who can help the Los Angeles police with this non-fatal hit-and-run accident.
 
Currently, the victim remains hospitalized and will survive his injuries.
