Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries after Crash with Vehicle on Panorama Drive in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 25, 2023) – A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Panorama Drive in northeast Bakersfield early Sunday morning on May 21.
 
The accident happened around 1:10 a.m. in the 1500 block of Panorama Drive, just near Haley Street. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, a vehicle collided with the motorcycle in unclear circumstances.
 
When officers arrived, they found the motorcycle rider lying in the roadway with major injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
 
The driver of the vehicle and her passenger stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. They were not injured.
 
Drugs, alcohol, and speed were not factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
