SACRAMENTO, CA (February 7, 2021) — A homeless man sustained injuries in a car accident on Stockton Boulevard on Wednesday, January 27.
 
According to Sacramento Fire Department, a car slammed into a strip mall on Stockton Boulevard near Fruitridge Road shortly after 8:00 p.m.
 
Officials said the man sat up against the building when the car collided into the area.
 
The fire department said that medics brought the man to the hospital with critical injuries. The driver involved in the incident was not hurt.
 
The collision also resulted in damage to an empty storefront and an adjacent building.
 
Sacramento police continue to investigate the incident.
