Santa Clarita Two-Vehicle Collision on Jakes Way near Sierra Highway
SANTA CLARITA, CA (January 29, 2021) – A collision on Jakes Way near Sierra Highway resulted in the hospitalization of one person in Santa Clarita’s Canyon Country neighborhood.
The Wednesday afternoon crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. according to the Los Angeles County fire officials. There were two vehicles involved as per reports. However, it was not immediately clear what led to the crash.
Initial findings showed that the incident left one person trapped inside a vehicle. There were reports, however, that the people involved were already out of their vehicles when emergency personnel and firefighters arrived.
Meantime, the authorities confirmed that paramedics transported one person to the hospital. The severity of injuries was unknown.
