Pedestrian Dies after Hit by Vehicle on Folsom Boulevard in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 18, 2024) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Folsom Boulevard in Sacramento Saturday evening on March 16.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:20 p.m. near Julliard Drive. According to the Sacramento Police Department, the male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
 
The impact caused the man significant injuries. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures, but he died at the scene.
 
The name, age and city of residence of the victim were not immediately available. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Officer will release his identity once family members are notified.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Detectives and crime scene investigators arrived to canvass of the area for evidence.
