AUBURN, CA (November 28, 2022) — A man died following a pedestrian accident on Bell Road on Friday, November 25.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 10:16 a.m. near Bell Road and Quartz Road.
 
CHP described the pedestrian as a man in his 30s. They also described the driver as a woman in her 20s.
 
CHP does not suspect intoxication as a factor in the incident.
 
According to CalTrans, the incident blocked lanes of Highway 49 near Bell Road.
