BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 18, 2023) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 99 near Olive Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 4:05 p.m. Monday.

For an unknown reason, a 32-year-old man began crossing the southbound lanes of Highway 99 on foot.
